RE/FASHIONED is an entirely sustainable clothing brand that I currently own and operate. Each piece is up-cycled from used and donated clothing with the intention of counteracting the negative effects that the fast fashion industry has on the environment.
This brand showcases my pragmatic approach to design. The collection shows the randomness, chaos and collage-like process of making something original out of a pre-existing object. Taking a more down to earth approach, I want to create a line and brand that is as unique as the people that wear it. The people that are interested in mixing and matching pieces to create an outfit to show what “style” really is.
Every aspect of the brand is sustainable - even the hangtags. There are two different hangtags on each garment: one with the logo that acts as the shirt tag and the other has the graphic from our long sleeve t-shirt; which is to be applied like a patch. The tags are attached to the garment by a
